Let’s learn something basic information of SQP certification.
SQP certification is also called factory audit, commonly known as factory inspection, simply understood as factory inspection.
That is, the factory is audited or evaluated according to certain standards.
SQP certification standard requirements are as follows:
1. Child labor: No child labor is allowed in the factory. Underage employees are not allowed to engage in physical labor or other positions that may cause physical harm to them, and they are not allowed to work night shifts.
2. Comply with the requirements of laws and regulations: The supplier’s factory shall at least abide by the labor laws of the country where it is located and the relevant laws and regulations of environmental protection.
3. Forced labor: The customer strictly prohibits the factory from hiring forced labor, which specifically includes forced workers to work overtime, and the use of laborers, prison workers, and detained workers’ IDs as coercion to force workers to work.
4. Working hours: The weekly working hours shall not exceed 60 hours, and at least one day off per week.
5. Wages and benefits: Is the employee’s salary lower than the local minimum salary level?
Are employees paid for overtime work?
Does the overtime wage meet the legal requirements (1.5 times for normal overtime, 2 times for weekend overtime, and 3 times for overtime on statutory holidays)?
Are wages paid on time?
Does the factory purchase insurance for employees?
6. Health and safety: Whether the factory has serious health and safety problems, including whether the fire-fighting facilities are complete, whether the ventilation and lighting of the production area are good,
Whether the factory is a three-in-one plant or a two-in-one plant,
Whether the number of occupants in the staff dormitory meets the requirements,
Do the sanitation, fire protection and safety of the staff dormitory meet the requirements?
